The 5000D is the latest model that improves inspection performance as well as stability and lifespan through improvements in hardware and software of existing models, resulting from years of research and development. By demonstrating the equipment in front of the visitors at this exhibition, they will be able to see its excellent performance and convenience.
Yoo Young-ho, the CEO of Nongshim Engineering, said “We will supply X-Ray foreign substance inspection equipment of various models not only to meet the government’s food safety management standards, but also to protect the safety of consumers’ food.”
Nongshim Engineering, an engineering company specializing in the food and pharmaceutical field, started from its subsidiary company Nongshim’s facility development office in 1997 and has carried out various projects in domestic and overseas, including plant construction, consulting, automation, logistics systems, and food safety.
Nongshim Engineering’s X-Ray foreign substances inspection systems brand, Intellisense, has been applied to high-speed production lines with over 1,200 cpm of Lotte Chilsung Beverage and Coca-Cola Beverage. It also has been exported to large domestic food companies, such as Nongshim, Sunjin Group, Lotte Group, and Daesang, as well as some of the world’s leading global companies, in the United States, China, Japan, and Europe.
Since the existing food foreign substances inspection system only stores and manages images for products with mixed foreign substances, it was not possible to check for defects in normal products. However, Nongshim Engineering’s X-Ray inspection system does not only manage defective products during production but also stores and manages the entire inspection video for normal products that are not mixed with foreign substances, enabling scientific and systematic responses to black consumers in case of complaint. Also, X-Ray inspection equipment had to be operated and managed directly at the site, but the software upgrade also can be managed directly from the office desk through remote control, which is highly favorable to managers. .
Nongshim Engineering’s inspection systems division does not only improve inspection of X-ray foreign substances through continuous technology development and special inspection algorithm development, but also provides specialized management programs for users, such as user-centered convenience of operation and history management necessary for quality management.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety last July,(HACCP) is expected to be subject to the mandatory application of food safety management certification (HACCP) by 50 percent of all processed foods by 2020
For this reason, food foreign substances management and defective food management are expected to be key issues in the food and pharmaceutical field. As a result, demand for Nongshim Engineering’s state-of-the-art X-ray inspection system, which can inspect regardless of packaging materials, such as cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles, and detect stones, glass, and bones as well as metals, is expected to rise consistently.
Nongshim Engineering is an engineering company specializing in food products, which was started as a subsidiary company Nongshim Co., Ltd. in 1997. Based on decades of experience and expertise, it has constructed eco-friendly manufacturing plants and automated factories featuring cutting-edge automation facilities. It also has developed a wide range of products such as X-Ray foreign substances inspection system, vision inspection system, automatic packaging machine with globally competitive power. In addition, it has made consistent investments in future-oriented intelligent plant systems featuring integrated computer-based management and HACCP plants valuing environment and hygiene.
